OGS coordinates and is responsible for the activity of the Mediterranean and Black Sea Argo Regional Center (MedArgo).\nThe activity of Argo-Italy also extends over the Southern Ocean and the Ross Sea.\nThe Argo-Italy funded activity ultimately provides physical (temperature, salinity) and biogeochemical (oxygen, chlorophyll, nitrates, sulfides, etc.) properties of seawater vertical profiles.
